Oil traps are installed in garages, car washes, parking lots, car service centers, where it is necessary to separate oil products from surface runoff (rain) and contaminated production water.

The pollutant content after treatment cannot exceed 5mg/l.

Oil traps operate on a gravitational principle, separating heavier water from lighter oil products. The incoming water flow is calmed and heavy particles (earth, sand) are deposited.

A coalescing filter separates oil products from water and detains sludge.

A sorbing filter can be installed in the oil trap to improve the treatment results up to 1 mg/l.
